The image is based on a number of short video clips. They were taken with my QHYCCD QHY5III290 planetary camera.
From a total of 80 000 frames 1 000 was selected using PIPP and 80% of them was stacked with Autostakkert. Sharpening with wavelets in Registax. Quite seriously I did not expect to get any structures at all out of my videos. At my latitude Mars doesn’t get higher than about 30 degrees and the seeing was terrible. I am truly amazed that anything at all came out.
